MOON ROCKS - PANEL XII

Curatorial facility at JSC. The study of lunar samples is in its infancy. Much is to be learned, but the samples must be preserved without degradation or contamination. The preservation and distribution of samples for study is carried out in stainless steel gloved cabinets which exclude particulate contamination and maintain pure nitrogen within, to resist oxidation that occurs if samples are exposed to the Earth's atmosphere.
